About Us

Our Location- We meet at 8245 County Road 15, Florence, AL 35633. We are located right in the middle of the Central and Oakland community in Florence, AL.

Our Mission- We seek to glorify GOD through our worship to HIM and our service to ONE ANOTHER.

​Our Guiding Principles- We are Christians or followers of Christ. In the Bible we learn about creation by God and how sin entered the world. Mankind continue to sin. God showed His love for us by sending His only son Jesus to live as our ultimate example and to die for our sins (John 3:16 & Romans 5:8). Jesus taught that in order to follow Him we must deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him (Matthew 16:24). We must follow the gospel in order to follow Jesus. We must:

• Hear (Romans 10:17, 1 Corinthians 10:15, Romans 10:14)

• Believe (Matthew 16:16, John 8:24, Mark 16:16, Hebrews 11:1-6)

• Repent (Luke 24:47, Acts 2:37-38, Matthew 3:8)

• Confess (Matthew 16:16-18, Romans 10:8-10,)

• Be Baptized (Matthew 3:13-17, John 3, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38)

• Live faithful (Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 6:1-2,Revelation 2:10, James 1:21)

Our Worship- We strive to worship as the New Testament Christians worshipped in the Bible. Our Sunday morning worship will include:

• The Lord’s Supper (Matt. 26:26-28, Luke 22:19-20, 1 Cor. 11:20-26)

• Acapella Singing (Colossians 3:16, Acts 16:25, Ephesians 5:19, James 5:13, 1 Corinthians 14:15)

• Praying (Philippians 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Ephesians 6:18, James 5:13, 1 Corinthians 14:15)

• Preaching (Mark 16:15, 1 Timothy 4:13, 2 Timothy 4:2, 1 Corinthians 1:21)

• Contribution or Giving (Luke 21:1-4, 2 Corinthians 9:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2)

Our Bible Classes- We offer Bible Classes for ALL ages. We have children's classes according to their age group. We have a teenage (7th-12th) class led by our youth minister. We also have multiple adult classes. ​
